Easy Returns & Refunds for Online Orders

At Jay Kos, we take pride in the craftsmanship of every piece we offer. If you’re not completely satisfied with your online purchase, our return and refund policy is here to help. Please review the details below to understand how returns, exchanges, and refunds work for your order.

How Long Do I Have to Return a Product?

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery. If 7 days have passed since you received your order, unfortunately, we cannot offer a refund or exchange.

Conditions for Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return:

  • Items must be unused, unworn, and in original packaging
  • receipt or proof of purchase is required
  • The item must not be listed as non-returnable or final sale

Do not send your return to the product manufacturer. All returns must be sent to our New York location.

Items That Cannot Be Returned

The following items are non-returnable:

  • Custom-made or one-of-a-kind pieces
  • Jewelry marked as final sale
  • Sale items and markdowns
  • Gift cards

These exclusions are clearly stated on the product pages at the time of purchase.

Partial Refunds (If Applicable)

We may grant a partial refund if:

  • The item is returned in a used, damaged, or incomplete condition (not due to our error)
  • The item is returned more than 30 days after delivery, even if reported within 7 days

How Refunds Are Processed

Once your return is received and inspected:

  1. We will send a confirmation email
  2. You’ll be notified if your refund is approved or rejected
  3. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within a few business days

What If My Refund Hasn’t Arrived?

If you haven’t received your refund yet:

  • First, check your bank account or credit card statement
  • Then contact your card issuer or bank, as processing times may vary
  • Still no refund? Contact our support team

Can I Return Sale Items?

Unfortunately, sale items are final sale and cannot be refunded or exchanged.

Exchanges for Damaged or Defective Items

We only replace items that are damaged or defective upon arrival.

To start an exchange, email us with your order number and photos of the damage.

Returning a Gift

If the item was marked as a gift during checkout and shipped directly to you:

  • You’ll receive a gift credit for the return value
  • Once your return is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you

If the item was not marked as a gift, the refund will be processed to the original purchaser.

How to Return an Online Order

To return your item:

  1. Package it securely with all original tags and materials
  2. Include your receipt or proof of purchase
  3. Ship to our return address (below)

Who Pays for Return Shipping?

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable
  • If a refund is approved, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your total

For high-value items (over $75), we recommend:

  • Using a trackable shipping service
  • Purchasing shipping insurance

We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item without tracking.
